How to Charge the Battery on an Acer Aspire Netbook

Acer Aspire notebooks feature a full range of computing power, visual imagery, and are just as portable as they are powerful. Luckily the unit comes with a battery to allow you to take the Aspire anywhere you may need it, and with the help of the AC Adapter (also provided with the unit), you can charge the battery to ensure it won't die too quickly. Most standard notebook batteries will last anywhere from 90 minutes to four hours on a full charge, although results will vary based on the age of the battery and what you are doing on the laptop.

The battery should be inserted into the laptop before you plug in the laptop's AC adapter. If it is not, unplug the adapter and insert the battery in the bottom of the laptop. Now locate the nearest electrical socket where you are. Make sure it has three prongs, and not just the top two.

Plug the laptop's AC adapter into the wall plug.

Plug the other end of the AC adapter into your Acer Aspire notebook.

Turn your notebook on and let it boot up to Windows.

Look in the bottom-right corner of the computer screen--there should be a battery icon there--to verify that the notebook battery is being charged.
